Check-in and boarding

Do I need a visa for my flight?

As each country imposes its own rules regarding the access of citizens from other countries to its territory, we recommend that you inform yourself about the necessity of a travel visa. Otherwise, you risk losing the money for your plane ticket, as airlines bear no responsibility in this situation and are not obligated to refund expenses.

It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure they have the necessary documents for their final destination or transit countries.

To verify the required documents, you can contact the embassy of the country you are flying to or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country. Pay close attention to flights with layovers, as you may need a transit visa at the airport, even if you don’t require one for your final destination.

On-line or airport check-in?

Without a doubt, flying by plane is a fast and convenient method to reach your desired destination. To facilitate the flight check-in procedure, airlines offer several check-in options:

  1. Online Check-In: Passengers can enter their travel document details into the airline’s reservation system, which generates boarding passes. It is recommended to print these passes and present them at the airport on the day of the flight. The availability of online check-in varies depending on the operating airline.

  2. Airport Check-In: Passengers can check in at the airport, either at the airline’s check-in counter or at self-service check-in machines. At some airports, self-service check-in is available only for passengers without checked baggage. For larger airports, self-check-in is also offered to passengers with checked baggage, who receive baggage tags for independent labeling. Baggage can be dropped off at designated points.

For airport check-in, passengers should arrive at the airport 2-3 hours before the flight. At the airline’s counter, passengers present their travel documents (ID and flight ticket) and, if applicable, check in their checked baggage. They then receive their boarding pass.

Some airlines may charge additional fees for airport check-in and printing boarding passes. To avoid such unpleasant situations, Fox-Aero offers the convenient option of “Flight Free Check-In ”, which is available for all airlines that allow online check-in. By choosing this option during your booking, you grant us the right to perform the check-in procedure on your behalf. Subsequently, we will either email you the boarding pass or make it available for download in your personal account.

If you prefer to check in independently, simply uncheck the option during the booking process. In case you’ve already paid for your flight ticket and forgot to decline the service, please send an email to client@fox-aero.com, explicitly stating your refusal.
